The old adage about keeping up with the Jones’ could have been coined to describe the life and times of Cristine Jones.
Her life long love affair with motor vehicles started at the age of four – and has seen her embark on a journey that’s seen her break down any number of traditions along the way. She was one of Australia’s first female motor mechanics in the late 1970s, has held a full motor racing licence, founded Women in Motor Sport Association, became a team instructor for the Mercedes Benz Driver Safety Program, is a motivational speaker and worked as the BMW and Ferrari state distribution manager in Western Australia.
It’s a background that has served Cristine exceptionally well when she decided on a change of direction and made the move into real estate with Ray White in 2002. The experience of dealing in prestige motor vehicles at the top end of the price range has given her an insight into the emotions surrounding an expensive purchase. There’s also an understanding of dealing with people of all types that comes from her time as a state distribution manager – everybody from the truck driver through to the satisfied customer at the end.
Indeed, Cristine’s goal in real estate appropriately sums up her approach to life – and that is to be recognised and referred to as an honest and credible real estate agent and respected member of the community.
Married with two children, Cristine still finds time for her motorsport activities. She also supports Wheelers Hill Tennis Club, Waverley Arts Society, and Jells Park Teahouse.
