Westpac Economic Update

Westpac Economist Elliot Clarke comments on this week’s June housing market data, both private credit and dwelling approvals. Offshore, the Westpac MNI Chinese Consumer Sentiment Survey for July; while in the US, positive GDP results and FOMC which continue to tapper as expected. Plus, looking ahead to next week’s RBA meeting, labour market and overseas, ECB on the weak inflation.
