Spotswood is an inner-western suburb bounded by the Yarra River. The area is largely industrial, though its residential pockets are popular due to their proximity to the city centre. Residents are minutes away from Williamstown's trendy cafes and Yarraville's shopping facilities. Spotswood is perhaps most well-known as the setting of the 1992 comedy film of the same name, starring Anthony Hopkins and Toni Collette.
