When you love your work, it's not just a job, it's a lifestyle. That's how Kharla Williams describes her role as a sales consultant in the Biggin and Scott team. "I consider myself fortunate to be part of a great team of people and having worked in the area for a number of years, I can say confidently that the service, care and delivery of excellent results for clients are our focus. Hence I love being part of Biggin and Scott."
Kharla is focussed on delivering fantastic results and passionate about her chosen career path which she finds extremely rewarding. "I love the unique challenges and the reaction of vendors after having sold their property well above expectations," Kharla says. "The challenge is to establish myself as the preferred real estate agent in the area." She is already well on the way to achieving that goal, especially after breaking the record in 2009 for a renovated Victorian home she sold in Flowers Street, South Caulfield.
"When a vendor is happy, they are happy from the beginning of the campaign to the end and that gives me great personal satisfaction," Kharla says. "Then you know you've done a good job."
Kharla's recipe for success is simple: honesty, delivering on every promise and having empathy with people. A keen runner, she begins each day with a 15 kilometre run that takes her from Toorak Road to Glenhuntly Road. Many past clients have now become firm friends who regularly call her for a chat over coffee. "It doesn't feel like work. I love the lifestyle. In Glenhuntly Road, everyone wants to talk about the market." And when they talk, Kharla listens.
